I had a good one (a P-C Tech, IBM clone) whose HD crashed that had operated fine even without Windows. Strange! Lifeguard tools for dos does not recognize the usb harddrive and so I am unable to clone the drive this way. That is, you run them as you would a normal file and it will tell you to insert a blank disk in the floppy drive and then it creates the disk.
