I have upgraded Ubuntu 13.04 from 12.10 and after installing it the wired network got unstable. I just reread your first post and my first suspect is that there is some kind of conflict between your ethernet and dial up adapters. I have upgraded Ubuntu 13.04 from 12.10 and after installing it the wired network got unstable. To refresh and keep up with other player movement and what not through a WAP is just not possible yet. check my blog its network is ethernet.
